St. Catherine Revisited
Parmigianino painted a similar piece in the 1500's.
St. Catherine had been sentenced to death on "the wheel", but when she touched it, the wheel broke. In Parmigianino's piece, baby Jesus was placing a ring on St. Catherine's finger. I changed the baby into a dove.
